Between 1994 and 2013, all Britannia cookers were made by ILVE in Italy. In 2013, the Britannia brand was sold to Glen Dimplex and is now no longer built by ILVE but by Bertazzoni in Italy. ILVE is a top quality brand in its own right now selling cooking appliances in the UK.
Gas Safe Registered
Britannia cookers that are dual fuel should only be repaired and serviced by an engineer registered with The Gas Safe Register, so you must always ensure that the engineer is suitably qualified.
Should you wish to check A.G.S. Appliances credentials on the Gas Safe Register, our registration number is 191525.
It is a legal requirement for engineers who are a Gas Safe Register member to carry a photo ID at all times.
We Are Britannia Specialists
Many independent oven repair companies will not fix or service Britannia cookers because they do not have access to the Britannia parts nor the technical back-up required to repair these expensive and technical cookers.
This is why you should contact Cooker Expert (A.G.S. Appliances).
We repair and service all Britannia cooking appliances, hobs and ranges including gas, electric, dual fuel and induction. Whether it is a cooker hood, oven clock, knobs or a mechanical problem, we can get hold of the parts that are required for you and fix your oven so that it is in full working order again.
What type of work can be carried out?
We give you two options when you request us to repair or service your Britannia cooker:
We offer a standard repair at a fixed labour price plus the cost of the parts required. This option includes a one year parts and labour guarantee on the work carried out.
A full service and health check on your Britannia cooker to ensure that it is kept safe and in good working order.
If your Britannia cooker is not working as it should or is due for a service, please get in touch and we can arrange an appointment repair or service your appliance.
